Mayor Pro Tem Diane Travis presented Dr. Jamin Brahmbhatt with a city proclamation honoring September as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Brahmbhatt is co-director of the world-renowned PUR Clinic based here in Clermont.

Diane Travis requested walking trails at the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center property to encourage healthy activities for the community. There's a shaded, sandy half-mile trail that winds through a small patch of woods north of the recreation center. A mile-long grassy trail loops around the outskirts of a larger wooded area south of the recreation center.
